$60 | Virtual Workshop
Monday, October 19, 2026
12:00 PM ET
Mood and anxiety symptoms that change across the menstrual cycle can be easy to miss, misattribute, or diagnose as a primary psychiatric disorder. For therapists, recognizing when symptoms may be biologically driven can meaningfully change how we understand a patient's presentation and approach treatment.
This virtual workshop provides a practical overview of the hormonal and neurobiological mechanisms that influence mood and anxiety across the menstrual cycle.
Designed for therapists and other non-prescribers, this session will help participants:
Recognize cyclical patterns of mood and anxiety symptoms
Understand how hormonal fluctuations can influence psychiatric symptoms
Identify presentations that may warrant consideration of PMDD or other reproductive mood conditions
Avoid common diagnostic pitfalls
Know when collaboration with psychiatric, gynecologic, or other medical providers may be helpful
Integrate an understanding of reproductive biology into psychotherapy
This is not a lecture on endocrinology. The goal is to provide a clinically grounded framework that helps you understand why your patients may feel different at different points in their cycle and how that information can inform your therapeutic approach.
Registration: $60
This workshop is also available as part of the complete three-part Reproductive Mental Health Across the Lifespan series for $155.
Virtual access information will be sent to registered participants by email prior to the workshop.
